ALot of LA people don’t bother using their blinker when they change lanes and if you honk at people when they cut in front of you they give you a nice finger gesture, even if it’s their fault.

Also I almost got hit more than 50 times in one year. ONE YEAR, DUDE! also taking a taxi could cost your life. 5 RMB, less than 75 american cents. people buy licenses here. don’t be angry at the truth.

You have to understand that people in China are extremely lazy when it comes to driving. Nobody can be bothered to spend the time and effort learning to drive properly. The driving test is a joke too. That’s why most people drive an auto, just out of pure laziness.

I remember when I was in China, I was on a bus (a passenger obviously) we were travelling between cities on a single track road with a hard shoulder. The bus was over taking traffic and forcing the oncoming vehicles into the hard shoulder, including police cars and other buses.

After that I stopped looking forward and just tried to pretend that everything was ok. The taxi drivers were just as bad if not worse however.
