http://www.problogger.net - Leaving comments on relevant blogs to your own is one of the most common tips that bloggers are given for finding new readers for their blog - in this video I show the power of the technique.
Faithfully, the … Faithfully, the fact that you say it will not draw too many people is not true. Darren Rowse is proving, through statistics, that it IS true. I know this method works, as I have used it myself. I didn’t use it as a method, per se, but when I began blogging, I just instinctively new to click links and leave comments in others blogs. And they commented back in my blog. I did not comment to get comments, but when I did comment, when I gave — others gave (commented) back.
Thanks of the video … Thanks of the video!
I realized this recently.
Sometime ago, i left a comment at a site that is now running an Adsense campaign for its product (a music album). i don’t know how many clicks they got from the ads that got displayed on my site( i did link to their site in a post and that got them some traffic). And the comment that i left at their site in turn got be some dedicate reader.
The point being that perhaps leaving relevant and resourceful comments is just like an Ad.
Thanks for this … Thanks for this video. I want to see if I can add relevant information to this video, thus adding and leaving a link to my own content. This video is perfect for that, as that is what is being taught in the video. Leave relevant info. and a link back to your own site, and you will be rewarded for it. So that is what I am doing right now.
I don’t think it will draw to many people, but I suppose even if I get one person to take a look, it is worth it. Hey, you got to start somewhere, right?
